Hennepin County prosecutors charged Jonah Canny, 18, of Brooklyn Park with second-degree criminal sexual conduct on Tuesday. Police say Canny assaulted a 6-year-old at Willowstone Park last week. A tip from the community led to the suspect’s arrest. “As horrific as this crime was, we're extremely happy the way our community responds. We have a great community here in Brooklyn Park and they are very united,” said Brooklyn Park Deputy Chief Mark Bruley in announcing the arrest last Friday.
