Typography workshop is designed to offer exposure to the design community on various aspects of typography in Multilanguage scripts with a focus on Display Typography. This will provide a platform for students from varied backgrounds to interact with experts in typography design.
This workshop was conducted during the conference on Typography Day 2013 held at the Department of Design at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati). In a 3-hour workshop, they intend to explore the letterforms of Indian scripts, known, familiar and unknown to participants to understand the art and science of letterforms.
