This week at the end of my pregnancy yoga classes we were discussing birth. There were a number of women who have had previous births and experienced pressure from their doctor to induce just because they were close to 40 weeks. Or felt pressure to accept further medical procedures even though they didn't really want them.
If you're wanting to have a natural birth in a hospital - you need to prepare yourself. I believe these three things are ESSENTIAL to give yourself the best chance of having your natural birth.
*** please note. This is not about ignoring your doctors advice if there is a medical reason to induce. Of course, listen to your doctors in this instance. But being 40 weeks itself is not a medical reason to induce.***
