Dr Ross Perry removed a Pilar Cyst from a man's scalp that had been growing for five years.

After the quick procedure, the Dr Perry quickly sews up the skin to stop scarring.

Dr Perry says:

"This is a pilar cyst, which is fairly common on the scalp and can often grow to quite a substantial size. It normally starts off as a pea-sized lump and then continues to grow.

"'This one had been present on the man for more than five years and had grown to such an extent that it had become very visible and had caused hair loss in the patch.

"This procedure literally only takes a few minutes and leaves a tiny hole that is then stitched and heals with an invisible scar."
