After weeks of research, we are facing our fears and taking our narrowboat on a tidal river for the first time! We cruise the last stage of our journey to Cromwell Lock, making our final preparations for the trip on the tidal section of the River Trent, and meet up with our buddy boat Laura Maisie from @FloatingOurBoat, before we head on out of the lock onto the tidal river! It is very different to the sedate canal cruising that we have been used to! Hop aboard and join us!
Hello! We're Caroline and Pete, and in 2021, after 10 years living in Texas, we sold up and moved back home to the UK to live full time aboard a 60ft narrowboat with our West Highland Terriers!
