This video discusses Euripides' Iphigenia in Aulis, which is part of the Atreidae cycle. Agamemnon lures his daughter to Aulis, where the Greek army is decalmed in their attempt to get to Troy. Euripides makes all of the characters ridiculous, fickle, pompous, and/or shallow, except for Iphigenia, whom he makes deeply admirable.
