This is a recording of the “DISQ Office Hours: Gender-Affirming Data Collection” call held on Thursday, June 29, 2023. The call featured a presentation from Cecilia Gentili (CAI, Transgender Equity Consulting), and Elisabeth Meyer and Eduardo Gabrieloff (Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment) about the importance of considering gender-expansive clients’ experiences when collecting demographic data, innovative approaches to collecting sexual orientation and gender identity SOGI data among RWHAP agencies, and resources available to help agencies consider or make updates to their processes. The remainder of the call served as a platform for discussion and to address questions.
