Elephant Helps Leopard Escape from Lions, three of the big five all in one sighting in the Kruger National Park South Africa.
We came across the Mazithi lion pride, who were stationary in the road, we noticed one of the lioness kept looking up at a tree and only then did we realise that there was a leopard in the tree with an impala carcass.
The leopard was feeding on the carcass, and as he was eating he was dropping scraps of leftover.
A while later we noticed one of the lionesses crossing the road and began eating the leopards leftover that she found on the ground.
An elephant was busy eating close to the tree where the leopard was and made its way closer and closer until he spotted the lioness, it was moving its trunk and trying to chase the lioness away, but the lioness was oblivious, only realised much later and run back across the road.
The leopard waited a few minutes after the elephant chased the lioness to make his exit down the tree and into the grass.
