The 2025 GWM Ora Sport is the new Chinese electric car you haven't heard of – yet. While yet to be confirmed for an Australian release, it is under strong consideration for local sales, which would see it go tyre to tyre with another zero-emissions mid-size sedan, the best-selling Tesla Model 3.
The Ora Sport is the big brother to another EV, the Ora small hatchback, but the two couldn't be anymore different, with the former adopting an aerodynamic shape that looks to extend its driving range, which is rated at 550km. Better yet, it's powered by dual electric motors which combine to deliver all-wheel drive and outputs of 300kW of power and 580Nm of torque.
In this news video, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Stephen Ottley gets up close and personal with the new Ora Sport to find out what it's all about and whether or not it's worthy of an Australia release date. Watch on to find out!
