In response to the 1990’s cartoon pilot that was discovered a few days ago, David Siller, one of the producers of the original game has come forward and explained that it was not meant to be a cartoon series at all and was actually a test animation based on the ideas for where THEY were going with the IP at that time. So in conclusion, the animation WAS NOT going to be an animated series of any kind, but it was meant to be in the original game itself. Watch the video for more details!
