Why do we ask the Lord for guidance? Is it not because we know that God knows everything, including things which will occur in the future? If He leads us, we are guaranteed success because He will guide us to making the best possible decisions.
Awareness of the Lord’s leading is not enough, for Israel’s experience in the wilderness is a testimony to this fact. They had the cloud of God’s glorious presence before them, but the bible tells us that many of them were grievously punished because of the contemptuous way they treated the Lord their God.
The best situation for us today is to be guided by the Lord, for He will lead us through this spiritual wilderness that we are in into His glorious Kingdom. In today's message, Pastor Dave hopes to encourage the believer to keep on persevering in this journey and to take comfort in knowing that the Lord is near.
If you can't come along, join us for our service at 10:30am.
