Get ready for an amazing astronomical event! On June 3, six planets, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, will all be visible in the sky at the same time, an event known as a planetary alignment or planetary parade. You'll be able to see Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn with the naked eye, but you'll need a telescope or high-powered binoculars for Neptune and Uranus. This alignment might not be limited to a single day, so keep your eyes on the sky for several days around June 3. This rare event will be visible in much of the Northern Hemisphere, depending on the weather. If you miss it, don't worry, the six planets will align again on August 28 and January 18, 2025.
