Stop thinking about your approach to Street Photography. Or rather, be aware of what and how you are thinking about it. There is nothing wrong with thinking. It’s just it’s overrated.  Like most of the stuff we think about is pointless. Let me tell you what thought is good for relative to street photography. It’s good for talking you out of stuff. “Don’t do that because you’ll annoy someone,” or “Don’t ask that person if you can take their portrait, they’ll probably think you’re a weirdo.” Guess what. You are a weirdo. You’re a photographer. All photographers are weird.

All I’m suggesting here is we disconnect from our thinking for a short time and allow ourselves to be spontaneous and shoot from the heart.
