Superman: Legacy Superman actor castings revealed for upcoming Superman Legacy test screenings. DC Studios head James Gunn is writing and directing the new Superman movie, Superman: Legacy for the new DC Universe which will have a new Superman actor, not Henry Cavill returning as Superman. Test screenings for a few select actors and actresses will happen within a couple of weeks as James Gunn narrows down who he wants to play Superman for his new DC Universe.

James Gunn has announced DC Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters with Superman: Legacy being a huge movie on the slate with the new era of the Justice League coming into the new DCU. James Gunn is personally helming the project and is now narrowing down who he wants to play Superman and Lois Lane.
