This 2 Rupees coin was released as circulating commemorative issue on occasion of Platinum Jubilee of Reserve Bank of India.

The Reserve Bank of India is the central banking institution of India and controls the monetary policy of the rupee. The institution was established on 1 April 1935 during the British Raj in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 and plays an important part in the development strategy of the government.

This is a single UNC Coin set from Hyderabad Mint made up of Stainless Steel weighing 5.62 grams with 27 mm diameter.

Observe Ashoka Pillar, Denomination Below lettering भारत INDIA सत्यमेव जयते at the obverse. On the reverse, Crest of RBI Logo lettering Reserve Bank of India, भारतीय रिजॄर्व बैंक Platinum Jubilee with date 1935-2010 below.
