Enjoy the day with a picnic,a walk or a quick fishing excursion to the New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam it is located on the Savannah River adjacent to Bush Field Airport and operated by the Augusta Recreation & Parks Department.

The purpose of the locks and dams is to create a series of steps which river tows and other boats either climb or descend as they travel upstream or downstream.

Bask in the beauty while you have better luck I hope , catching some fish as well !!!!
