"I think it's one more terrorist attack that Israel is... and it means that the Palestinians, even now, are not willing to do anything to put an end to the terrorism here in our region. I think the time has come for Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas, Palestinian Prime Minister) and his government to take this strategic decision to dismantle the infrastructure of the terrorist organisation, and the sooner the better."

STORYLINE:
Gunshots were fired at an Israeli car in the West Bank on Friday, killing a man, injuring his pregnant wife and causing their vehicle to overturn, the military and settler leaders said.
The shooting, near the Palestinian town of Ramallah, seriously wounded the man's 24-year-old wife, who was seven months pregnant, said Yael Bossem-Levy, a spokeswoman for the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem.
The couple had left their children with grandparents and were heading off on a weekend trip when their car was shot at, said Pinchas Wallerstein, a leader of Israeli settlers living in the West Bank.
The injured woman was rushed to Ein Kerem hospital for treatment.
Silvan Shalom, the Israeli Foreign Minister, said from Tel Aviv that the Palestinians were "not willing to do anything to put an end to the terrorism here in our region."
Palestinian gunmen have repeatedly targeted Jewish settlers traveling on West Bank roadways throughout three years of fighting.
