Kiren Rijiju, who is stepping down as Sports Minister, said on Thursday that the journey to make India a great athletic nation will continue because only the responsibilities have changed, not the goal. On Thursday, Rijiju took over as the Union Minister of Law and Justice, succeeding Ravi Shankar Prasad. The former Sports Minister claimed that his staff did everything in their power to satisfy the ambitions of Indian citizens and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision. After the BJP-led government was re-elected in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Kiren Rijiju was appointed Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports. Listen in!
