Final edited version of Kesaksian Tanpa Batas/Eternal Witness, directed by Shanty Harmayn. Ahmad Tohari (b. 1948), despite having grown up amidst a very strong Moslem background, has proven himself capable of creating the trilogy Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk, set totally outside his Moslem upbringing. This film is the final edited version of the biography of Ahmad Tohari filmed at author's home in Banyumas, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia, as part of the "On the Record: Indonesian Literary Figures" series which features interviews with prominent Indonesian authors, poets and playwrights. This film is in Indonesian with English subtitles and transcripts in English and Indonesian are also available.
