I’d tested my Garmin Vector3 pedals yesterday and despite removing cells and calibrating with a Garmin 510 head unit, the readings were crap and the right pedal was not being read very well. I decided to not let that get to me.
My entry was left to the last-minute as the course had been beset by some bastard sprinkling carpet tacks on the road in recent years. I figured given when I was likely to start, if the road had been vandalized, I’d know about it by then and could withdraw.
