Sears Grand in Colorado is now abandoned... Except for the AUTOCENTER! Let's see what's left of the main Grand store!

📚 Sears Grand opened in Thornton as Colorado's first Sears Grand (Grand #7) and Sears store
# 1831 in 2005 with everything that a full-line Sears had plus MORE! Over the years, product supply cut back to where this was basically just a full line store with more quantity not variety.

📚 In 2019, IKEA had plans of opening a second Colorado store in the area and perhaps in the site of this Sears Grand, but any plans fell through, and it never happened. However in 2021, this Sears Grand was announced to close on Feb 12th with Job Positions being posted on Indeed. On the Sears closing events website, an even was posted for the liquidation sells of this Sears grand to begin Feb 24th.

📚 Sadly, the main Sears Grand store closed on May 2nd by 2 PM MDT. Fortunately for the time being, the Sears Auto Center at this location is continuing to operate and thrive today with the main building being available for new tenants.
