Antique gentleman’s 15ct gold and sapphire snake ring; snake jewellery was very popular in the victorian era, representing love, wisdom and eternity. The snake also sheds its skin, seen as symbolic of re-birth and re-generation. This ring has a dark blue sapphire set in his head and is carved in a design representing his scales. Weight: 9.20gm.
