🚩Transfăgărășanul is one of the most spectacular roads in Romania and in the world (some say). It crosses the Făgăraşului Mountains, the highest in Romania. Built between 1970 and 1974, it became famous for the amazing landscapes and panoramas it offers.
The winding road is approximately 151 kilometers long and is open to the public during the summer, generally between June and October, depending on weather conditions.
