The 45th Guards Spetsnaz (Special Purpose) Detached Brigade is a special reconnaissance and special operations military unit of the Russian Airborne Troops. The unit is part of the Russian Airborne Forces (VDV RF) and directly subordinate to VDV Headquarters. However, it is operationally also subordinate to the GRU.
