{{ verifyErrors }} Miley Cyrus has revealed her feud with late Sinead O'Connor after the Irish singer claimed that pop star was "pimpled". After O'Connor's death in July at the age of 56, many fans remembered O'Connor's open letter to Cyrus. The letter referred to the recent release of the music video for "Wrecking Ball," in which Cyrus is seen naked swinging on a wrecking ball. After Cyrus said she was inspired by the visuals accompanying O'Connor's 1990 hit "Nothing Compares 2 U", O'Connor, then 20, responded with "maternal spirit and love." Cyrus now delves into the letter and its response at the time in ABC's new documentary, Endless Summer Vacation Continued . “When did 'Wrecking Ball', expected controversy and backlash, but don't think expected other women, especially women in my position, to belittle or turn their backs on me before,” the 30-year-old man recalled. Cyrus in the 2013 video for 'Wrecking Ball' "That's when I got an open letter from Sinéad O'Connor and had no idea of the fragile mental state she was in." At the time, Cyrus responded by making fun of old tweets that O'Connor had sent at a time when he was in poor mental health. He compared the singer to former Nickelodeon child star Amanda Bynes, who was struggling mentally. O'Connor tweeted that Cyrus "made fun of me and Amanda Bynes for having mental health problems and seeking help", adding "It is unacceptable to mock anyone for their suffering." The former Disney Channel star, who was touched when describing her reaction in the documentary, continued “I was just 20 years old too. mean, I was so preoccupied with mental illness that all saw was another woman telling me it wasn't my idea. O'Connor's letter resurfaced after his death "Even if I convinced was, was still just the opinion of the men in power, and they made me believe my idea, even though never really was. Cyrus said he was "judged so long because of my own choices that I got tired" but felt that he had finally made "my choices and my own decisions" with "Wrecking Ball". Cyrus then performs the song "Wonder Woman" which reads "Dedicated to Sinead O'Connor" onscreen.
