Khalistani leader and Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh continued to evade arrest for the sixth consecutive day. The separatist leader has been on the run since the Punjab Police launched a crackdown against Waris Punjab De last week.
As the efforts to nab Amritpal Singh continued, the police arrested several of the Khalistani leader’s supporters. So far, over 150 people have been detained by the police in connection with the case. The Haryana Police also arrested a woman who allegedly gave shelter to Amritpal Singh and his associate while they were on the run from the police.
