This shows some of the traditional french folk music and dancing from an annual festival in Nice, France ,which represents a celebration of springtime with the colours and the abundance of mother nature. It has been a regular event since the 1960s but it's origins go back to when Nice was part of Italy and was called Nissa ( pronounced Nizza) until it became part of modern France in 1860. It was shot with a Sony CX550VE camcorder and i apologise for some unedited jumps. In those spots i was trying to avoid restless people blocking the lens and i preferred not to edit them so as to keep the flow of music and dance.
