Honorary Host Emanuel Cleaver, II and the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LiUNA) African American Caucus presented a two-hour abbreviated boot camp geared towards black/brown men and women. This session concentrated on how to effectively enter the sometimes messy world of politics, and demonstrated the importance of organized coalitions.
