#RoadToEmpowering2000GirlsInSTEM

We’ve been on an incredible journey to empower 2,000 African girls in STEM. After kicking off the initiative in Ogun State, we brought our mission to Lagos, and we wrapped up an unforgettable edition at SOS Children’s Village, Isolo Lagos Nigeria, with over 200 brilliant young queens.

Day 1 was an outreach day where we introduced the girls to STEM and various STEM fields, explored exciting career opportunities, and so much more

And on Day 2 we went hands-on! The girls built their first robots, wrote their first lines of code, and learned to develop games using Scratch. They also built obstacle-avoiding robot cars in our robotics workshop.

To ensure they can continue their learning, we donated laptops and other resources for further hands-on practice.
