Renée Alexander Craft is a performance studies trained Black feminist writer, scholar, and educator. She is an associate professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a joint appointment in the Department of Communication and Curriculum in Global Studies.
Rhema Bland is the new director of the Ida B. Wells Society for Investigative Reporting at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media.
Leoneda Inge is WUNC’s Race and Southern Culture reporter, Leoneda is also the host of podcast series “PAULI,” about the iconic life of lawyer, author, activist and Episcopal priest, Pauli Murray.
Trevy McDonald is the Julian W. Scheer Term Associate Professor in the Hussman School of Journalism and Media where she teaches “The Black Press and U.S. History” and serves as the school’s Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
