Hello friends, welcome back to whatever life. This time myself & Munmun has visited, The karunamoyee Kali Mandir, located near Tollygunge, kolkata, was built in 1760 by Nandadulal Roy Chowdhury of the famous Sabarna Roy Chowdhury family in memory of his daughter, Karuna who died at an early age of seven years. Nandadulal Roy Chowdhury had a divine dream after his daughter's death in which his daughter appeared and urged him to install an idol of Goddess Kali on the banks of Adi Ganga and worship it. The temple complex has twelve small temples of Lord Shiva in Traditional Aat Chala Style of Bengal Architectute.
Mandir Opening Time : Morning : 6 am to 12:30 pm
Evening : 4 pm to 9:30 pm
Morning puja : 7:30 am to 12 noon
Sandhyarati : 8 pm
