French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Strasbourg on Friday evening, one day after the suspect in a recent attack near the city's famous Christmas market was shot dead in a police operation.
Macron paid tribute to the victims at the city's Kleber place and met with security forces deployed in Strasbourg to thank them.
The President also walked in the recently re-opened Christmas market.
