Politics and Christians. How should a Christian view politics? Should we be really involved in it? Should we be careful Because there are two different sides and our main call is the gospel of Jesus Christ today on hot topics Should a Christian be involved in politics?
Hi, this is Robert Furrow. Welcome the hot topics. We answer Bible questions and your questions through the lens of Scripture. The comments section is below, and I'm sure with this topic that we're gonna get a lot of comments. We live in a politically charged environment, and should we, as Christians be involved in political things? Jesus was asked something that had to do with politics. When the Herodian is asked him whether or not it was lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, Jesus asked for a denarius, held it up, and said, Whose faces? On here, they said, Caesar's And Jesus said, render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God, the things that are God's when it comes to our responsibility here to our government were supposed to pray for them. And I believe that we have this incredible thing called the vote and that we ought to use our vote, that we ought to be well informed about what's taking place, that we have to support the people who stand behind us and have our views. I think it's important not to let our vote go, but we also need to consider the gospel because our greatest and highest call is not politics.
