A community of artists launches the summer season on San Juan Island, WA, with their annual self-guided, no-fee studio tour. For the past 18 years, the weekend of open studios has given the public the chance to talk to artists, watch demonstrations, and see where art is made. The various media represented include acrylic, encaustic, oils, pastels, watercolors, glass art, jewelry, furniture, sculpture, pottery, photography, painted silk, fiber arts, textiles, and more.
