The government is asking rice retailers to sacrifice for the good of the public for a while, a day after several small rice retailers complained of possible losses following Malacañang’s mandate to put a price cap on several kinds of the staple grain. Meanwhile, some lawmakers were not impressed with the President's order to set nationwide price caps on rice.
