The last surviving officer who fought in the Battle of El Alamein has been sharing some of his memories with modern-day soldiers.

Lieutenant Colonel Charlie Cameron served in the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders in the Second World War - an earlier version of the modern day 7 SCOTS.

He’s been to visit the reserve unit at its base in Perth. @David_A_McCann went along!
