Video Details:
Ibn Kathir in his "Stories of the Prophets" states that according to al-Hakim, the jinn lived on Earth 2,000 years before humans, but then made mischief and were banished to islands. Thus, due to the fact that angels only know what Allah tells them, the only way they could have surmised that humans would shed blood would be because they had witnessed it before with the jinn.

Hadhrat Ibn Abbaas (Radi Allah Anho) narrates that, 'Two thousand years before mankind was created, there were Jinn on the earth, and they caused corruption on it and shed blood. Then, Allah Taa'la sent against them a troop of Angels who beat them and cast them away to islands in the seas. So, when Allah Taa'la said: ‘I am placing (mankind) generations after generations on earth,’ They (the Angels) said, ‘Will You place therein one who will cause corruption and shed blood’ (Al Baqarah, 2:30), That is just as those Jinn did? Then, Allah (Taa'la) said: ‘I know that which you do not know.
