Karen Silkwood was a lab technician and union activist at the Kerr-McGee Cimarron Facility in Oklahoma. While there she had witnessed employee safety concerns as well as some alleged fraud. She was on her way to Oklahoma City to report her findings when things mysteriously changed. Karen's story was also told in the movie Silkwood.
