Acts chapter 16 tells the story of Paul's second missionary journey. He travels with Silas and Timothy, and they visit several cities, including Derbe and Lystra, where they meet a young disciple named Timothy. Paul circumcises Timothy to avoid offending the Jews in the area. As they travel, the Holy Spirit guides them to Macedonia, where they preach the Gospel and establish churches.
