It has been three weeks since the death of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. The state has been under Governor's Rule since January 9. Opposition parties have voiced their concerns over the delay in the formation of a new government amid reports that PDP leader and Mufti Sayeed's daughter, Mehbooba Mufti, has refused to take oath as Chief Minister after his death. It has also emerged that the Muftis moved out of the chief minister's official residence on January 18. Is the PDP's alliance with the BJP seeing friction?
