The maiden journey of MV Ganga Vilas has been curated to showcase the rich heritage of India with stopovers in spots of historical, cultural, and religious importance. Besides connecting National Waterway 1 (NW 1) which includes Ganga and National Waterway 2 (NW 2) on Brahmaputra, the cruise will cross 27 river systems.
MV Ganga Vilas is scheduled to travel 13 days in Assam and after halting at Dhubri, Jogighopa, Pandu (Guwahati) it will travel to Kaziranga and Majuli before the culmination of the journey at Dibrugarh.
