Our galaxy is made up of about four hundred billion stars and at least a hundred billion planets. Worlds outside the solar system are called exoplanets. Scientists have discovered thousands of them, but most of the planets are completely different from the Earth. Nobel laureate Didier Queloz explains what types of exoplanets exist, what methods scientists employ to find them, and if there is an exoplanet suitable for human life like Earth.
