Hey,
Welcome to our Sri Lanka series we are spending one month exploring the beautiful country and showing people why they should visit here.

Today we are getting a bus from Ella to Arugam Bay, we know this wasn’t going to be an easy as the is no direct bus esto Arugam bay, so we are just going to wing it!

First bus we took at 9am from Ella bus number 98 to Monaragala it took 1h 45m & actually wasn’t very busy and we got a seat, so the first bus was a success.
As we pulled up to the bus station the driver showed us what bus to get the next bus from Monaragala was bus number 303 but it wasn’t leaving for over two hours, so we sat there and waited this bus took 3 HOURS! Unlike the last busy it was very busy, but still we had a seat.
After a long travel day we finally arrived at Arugam Bay!

This is the famous surfing hotspot in Sri Lanka. Tourists from all over the world come here to do surfing. It's a very beautiful beach.
