Vin Diesel, born Mark Sinclair on July 18, 1967, is an American actor and film producer known for his role as Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise. Born in California, Diesel studied creative writing at NYC's Hunter College, which led him to screenwriting. He wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the short film Multi-Facial (1995) and his feature debut Strays (1997). Diesel gained attention in Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan (1998) and later starred in hits like Boiler Room (2000), The Pacifier (2005), and Find Me Guilty (2006). His voice work includes The Iron Giant (1999) and Groot in the MCU. Diesel founded One Race Films, Racetrack Records, and Tigon Studios, contributing as a producer and voice actor across various media.
