The Jubilee Party is accusing the opposition of hatching a plan use 850 million shillings from public coffers, to the peoples assemblies activities. The National Assembly Majority leader, Adan Duale, says the NASA county bosses have been instructed to raise at least 50 million shillings each. Duale now wants the Controller of budget, Agnes Odhiambo, to step in and forestall the intended misuse. Ken Mijungu reports that 8 counties have already signified their compliance, by beginning the processes that may also see constitutional amendments.
