Funny Face is a Spectacled Flying-Fox (bat) who was rescued as a young juvenile. She has a minor cleft lip and palate with a facial deformity - her jaw is short and asymmetrical.
She was barely managing in the wild, so she's been brought into care and has found her forever home at the Tolga Bat Hospital in Atherton in Far North Queensland.
Tolga does some fabulous work. It is run by volunteer labour, on a shoestring. It has no government support or funding.
