I’ve had two of these, one was noisy and created vibrations that resonated through the whole tank. The replacement isn’t much better. This is how much vibration they can generate. They both do this on and off. Not at all silent, even in the best case. At their worst, I want to rip these out of my tank.
This is the lowest flow model (270 gallons / 1000 liters).
They’re cheap, so you get what you pay for. Word of advice: don’t buy these, just spend double, triple, quadruple for something better.
