The 9500 MPR radio operates on -48 VDC (-48 Vdc to -60 Vdc +/-20 percent) input power. Office power is connected to the (PDU) which in turn connects to the power supply on the 9500 MPR. Two power cables may be used with each 9500 MPR shelf, but only 1 power cable is required to provide power to both Main A and Spare B sides of the 9500 MPR shelf. However, 2 power cables are required to provide fused power backup in case of a blown fuse or bad cable/connection. The main side A of the 9500 MPR shelf should be fused through the A side of the fuse panel, and the spare side B of the 9500 MPR shelf should be fused through the B side of the fuse panel.
