Bastar (Chhattisgarh), Apr 24 (ANI): The tribal people in Chhattisgarh have decried the Naxal violence as it has claimed hundreds of innocent lives in recent years. Naxals are increasingly involved in the killings, abductions and other heinous brutalities being meted out on the tribal people of the state. There appears to be no end in sight to the plight of tribal people in Chhattisgarh. Anyone who chooses to support the government’s developmental schemes is being targeted. The Naxal influence is gradually shrinking as they are getting strong opposition by the locals. Many misled tribal youth have also realised the futility of violence and have joined the mainstream.
