Here is my review of the BYO Guitar JEM style guitar kit. I turned it into a "Woody" JEM replica like the original Steve Vai guitar. This is my third BYO guitar kit and it was a really fun project. The kit includes a surprisingly nice neck and body. The hardware is typical for these types of kits. The tuners are ok and the Floyd Rose is not great but they work. I will probably eventually upgrade them. The pre-wired pickguard is easy to install and only requires 3 wires to solder. I may upgrade those as well eventually.
